Inspired by the late, great Charles McGee, of Detroit! This piece emphasizes his message of unity and standing together, which is a recurring theme in a lot of Charles McGee’s public work. In pieces such as Unity, United We Stand, and Freedom Bound, all these masterpieces are inspiring a body of people to come together for a common good, to achieve a goal, to become better as a society. My piece is open to be applied to multiple beliefs/situations. It can be a political statement with the RED & BLUE, apply to Black on Black Crime, BLM, or any movement! It is ultimately saying “We are stronger together”!
